oh child, how you curse and kiss with the same mouth.

warm southern wind sings her breathy melody
stirs her voice into the deep wine dark of the night
full moon hangs heavy on her witching song
she is a heady siren, a fiery muse
gentle kisses to entice a sudden lack of inhibition
a stubborn, sultry passion set ablaze in the hearts
of those who dare stand to meet her
and carelessly indulge in her sound--
raw as sugar cane, strong as moon shine
relentless vixen, she, the southern wind.

About Me

My photo
I am a tug of war between head and heart, a mess of body and soul. My greatest fear is my only hope, for it is not a man with beginning or end, but something much greater and wilder than anything of flesh and bone. I am a woman of simple words, wild love, and no apologies for either. © Ashley Burrough 2013. All Rights Reserved.
