as a female, I have had my fill of department stores and shopping malls.
the more my eyes consume, the less appealing everything is.
It was like that when I worked in the mall in high school.
my mother wanted to shop today, and she wanted me to go with her.
she sent me off to window shop, the only things I really discovered
were that I'm down a size in pants, that everything is kind of redundant,
and that it's tiring trying on clothes and paying money for so little.
all this complaining, as trivial as it seems, is not without reason.
the past week or so has been filled with shopping for people,
shopping with people. the thing I love the most about it is being with the people.
spending money gets old really quickly.
so the moral of the day: the law of diminishing marginal utility.
four A's and one B at the end of this semester, the B? in Microeconomics.
But I went away with a small appreciation for that law.
